Avenida 19 Restaurants

The Avenida Carrera 19 is an important Avenue in the north of Bogota (be sure of not confusing it with the Calle 19, which is located in the downtown).

This avenue begins in the Calle 95 (95th Street) and ends in the Calle 161 (161th Street). However, for this guide, we are going to consider just the area delineated on the north by the Calle 127 (127th Street) and on the south by the Calle 100 (100th Street).

The eastern and western boundaries of this zone go few blocks away the Avenida Calle 19 towards the east or the west. It depends on the location of some restaurants.  Is in this delimited area where most of the restaurants of the Avenida Carrera 19 zone are located.

This Avenue is intersected for some of the most dynamic and important streets of the northern Bogota. One of those is the Calle 100 –the south limit of our zone- is a main avenue, where there are some important hotels and a financial center. The other is the Calle 116 or Avenida Pepe Sierra, where you will find a huge gastronomic offer. Finally, there is the Calle 127 –the north limit of our zone-, over which there is an outstanding commercial area with two big malls: Unicentro and Bulevar Niza.

The Avenida Carrera 19 is an easy accessible way by car, bus, Transmilenio or taxi. It has a Ciclorruta (a bicycle path, which you can find next to the main roads and secondary streets as well as passing through the parks of the city), ideal for those who prefers alternative means of transportation. And if you want to take a walk, this an ideal place to do it.
